What Kids Will Learn:

Surfing: Whether they're catching their first wave or refining their skills, kids will experience the excitement of riding the Wai Kai Wave while learning essential techniques and ocean safety.

Paddle Sports: From stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) to kayaking, children will learn the basics of paddling, balance, and coordination in a safe and controlled environment on the beautiful Wai Kai Lagoon.

Sailing: In our Learn to Sail lessons, keiki will gain confidence and experience in sailing on the Lagoon, learning how to control a sailboat and navigate the waters.

Water Safety & Cultural Lessons: The program includes a dry-land component that teaches water safety, weather awareness, and waterman etiquette. Children will also gain an understanding of the deep connection Hawaiians have with the ocean and its importance in Hawaiian culture.

Skills Developed:
Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: As kids engage in water sports, they’ll need to think critically and adapt quickly to different situations, developing their decision-making skills.

Leadership & Communication: Working together as a group and supporting each other on the water helps keiki build strong leadership and communication skills.

Confidence & Resilience: Whether they're learning to paddle a kayak, ride a wave, or sail a boat, kids will grow more confident with each new skill they master.
